3.1.3 Setting up the E1/T1 Card Type

When you rst login, you should choose the card type: E1 or T1. It depends

on the E1/T1 card in your PBX. Select E1 if you have an E1 card in the

PBX. Select T1 if you have a T1 card in the PBX. Click the Next button.

Note: If the card is congured as E1, it will launch 30 Skype accounts;

a card congured as T1 will launch 23 Skype accounts. Once

the conguration is complete you may not switch card type

settings. You must use the Recovery DVD to restore the system

to change the card type settings.

3.1.4 Launching Skype Accounts

The number of Skype accounts depends on the E1/T1 card type. If the

card is congured as E1 it will launch 30 Skype accounts, while the card

congured as T1 will launch 23 Skype accounts.

You must create 23/30 Skype accounts before launching. We recommend

creating Skype IDs with a sequential naming convention:

Skype ID: Prex1- Prex30 or Prex1- Prex23. For example:

exchange1, exchange2…exchange30.

If the Skype accounts are not named sequentially, then please import an

account le to launch the Skype accounts.

The following examples will illustrate the E1 settings to launch 30 Skype

accounts.
